MEET SARIT VINO-ELAD

Sarit Vino-Elad is an actress known for appearing in “Haburganim.” She discovered her passion at the age of 14 at a summer arts camp, when she sang a song to her brother one day and noticed that he did not look at her anymore as a little girl, but rather as a grown woman. Sarit chose acting because she wanted to stimulate people’s emotions via art. She felt that people typically run away from emotions in order not to feel pain and not to be considered “weak.”  She feels that the more people connect to their emotions the more they become better people, a sort of spiritual work. Sarit retired from acting because she felt more like an artisan than an artist.  She feels that women traditionally put up barriers before they speak; all they hear is an inner critic.  Sarit wants to empower women as public speakers and believes that social change can happen through the individual. One person can change one more person, and she in turn can change one more. The world will change for good when we maximize our individual good.
